A Purple Rose

Here is a rose called Melody Parfumee, a purple rose that is sweet smelling & surprisingly long lasting cut. It is spiralling open in a near-perfect hybrid tea form-or grandiflora, I can't recall which.

This is the first flower from the plant, it took nearly 1 whole year to grow to blooming size, which is just under 3 feet. Each of the pics is taken equalling 1 day in the vase. They loaded in reverse order.

Roses in Pitcher

A small bouquet of 3 HP Reine Victoria, scented geranium-Balm, whatever that means & tiny salvia. Old Country Roses pitcher on a tablecloth I made; basically turned the edges over & sewed lace onto it.
